I needed to vent somewhere about Labcorp. I have my own issue with them.

In December I had to have some lab work done through my doctor's office.

I was sent a bill later on for $95. I asked several times if I could get on a hardship plan because of no current income. Sent $5 a month for three months. This local billing department are idiots.

They ignored my correspondence, and continued with the threatening letters and calls. THEY are the ones that 2 weeks ago credited another patient with my last payment by cashing MY check to that patient's account. So now I have only paid for two months instead of three, thanks to their idiocy. I am currently in the red in the LCA Collections and they are being threatening.

I wish they would stop sending me these LCA Collections bills and calling me! I had to reach one of the higher-ups in the company to get any compassion at all. Luckily that check was only $5, but it's gone now! At least now I am going to get put on a actual monthly payment plan very soon, because of one kind person that actually paid attention, not even local to me.

I am afraid they will send me to third party collections or worse though. It's not my fault they screwed up!

So they bug me too much, and you never got the bill to the correct address in the first place, or in the correct amount. I got bills but they wouldn't give me a payment plan or credit the correct account. On the back of the cashed check it was printed some foreign name, not mine like the previous one cashed.

They are making a big fuss over what was 95 dollars, and should be $80 now, but because of THEIR mistake it's still $85.

I cannot stand having to deal with this company. It's worse than pulling teeth.

A TB Blood test requires 4 tubes be drawn. Its a quantiferon and the amount of blood per tube is less than 1 ml

Lab corp operator is very rude.Phone etiquette is when you answer the phone state your name and the company you are representing.She refused to give her name after asking her three or four times.She stated her name is Zoraya Monroe and she is Filipina tagalog speaking why i kmow she spoke to me in Tagalog because i am also from her native country but very rude. I been transferred by her to logistic a couple of times from the time period of 5:15 pm to 6:30 at nite.Logistic cannot or no one answering from that time period after been trying 12 time os calles i had done.Very unprofessional and yes i wish that those phone calls that clients are been true and recorded why not listened to it and you will find a few employees of the company have manners.Logistic her name is Nina same as Zoraya both needed a class for etiquetts i same ask for supervisors on duty and refused to let me speak.Highly disappointed to this such matter.I work for the Dr.office who happened to have an account to your company and hes mot happy about it because twicw have an incident of specimen mot getting pick up and soecimens are not good to run the test and whose suffering for those the patients who needed medicines towards to the lab test need to be process.Because of luck of responsibilities.LETS PUT OUR SELVES IN THEIR POSITION AS A SICK PERSON SHALL WE AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO FEEL IF YOU GET A CALL BACK THAT NEED TO REPEAT AGAIN BECAUSE SOMEONE ON THE OTHER SIDE SCREWED UP.

I called Labcorp to see what happened to my outstanding bill. I was told that I owed money, and I agreed that I would pay for it. The lady over the phone told me that I could go ahead and pay for it at one of their locations near my house. I said okay, great! So I went to the office and said I'd like to pay for my bill. Since I didn't have an invoice number and didn't have an official bill yet I asked if they can look up my name, SSN, birthday or something so I could go ahead and pay for my bill like I was told to and they said they couldn't. I understand that they couldn't but they could've been more cordial and professional about it. Instead the two ladies were rude, unfriendly and unbelievably unprofessional. I even heard them snicker and talk about me while I was there. Bad experience! I could only wish karma would do its work and pray for them. God bless them!

This is the absolute worst lab I have ever gone to. Unfortunately, I have to continue going to this lab due to my insurance.

I recently have been having personal problems and I got my blood taken. My numbers were off so they re-took the blood. The second time, THE LAB LOST MY BLOOD. Therefore, I had to take it a third time and finally got the results back.

The results were normal. The doctor wanted me to check it one more time to be completely sure and the numbers were off again. I saw a doctor because it turns out I do have a problem. She wanted me to get my blood work done again after a month on my medication.

So, I got my blood taken again. I work at a doctors office so I was looking to see the results of my blood and the tests I was nervous about weren't coming back. I called the lab and they said they never received the blood. I spoke to the driver who picked it up and he said it was there that night.

Therefore, they LOST MY BLOOD AGAIN!! I got it done another time and went to the doctor. Now, I am to get my blood done again which I did a few days ago. The results came back and all the tests were normal.

Meaning I would not have to be on this medication. If this were true, it would mean I never had the disease to begin with. So my office called the lab and spoke to the driver. He stated that the test was frozen but since it was so hot outside, the ice melted.

Therefore, I have to get it done AGAIN!!! This lab is HORRIBLE and I cannot believe the service and how irresponsible they are with this.

It is not a joke, this could be VERY SERIOUS! Luckily, my disease won't kill me or I could be dead by NOW!!!!!!

I don't know how much they charged you, but if it is more than $200.00, then you might consider taking them to small claim court. You could also complain to the AMA. However make sure that your doctor is willing to testify or at least put his opinion in writing, before you take any action.
