This was the LABCORP in Palm Desert, CA. No patients were being helped.

Entire staff of 6 sat around talking. When asked about the delay, the reply was that the techs were at lunch. At 10:30am. Also the fax machine was broken for several days, so physicians could not fax orders.

My Dr. was willing to fax me my order so I could take it to the lab with me. The reception person answered many calls from physician offices requesting faxing labs. They were told the machine was broken, and no idea when it would be repaired.

The attached picture is the tech who finally did my blood work after her :30 lunch....talking with the rest of the staff in the reception. The YELP reviews for this branch of LABCORP are almost all negative.

I liked: Tech was nice once she finally helped me.

I didn't like: Attitude and lack of professionalism of the receptionist, Receptionist ignored the 2 people waiting for lab work.
