Thank you I am a labcorp emp. And I know what u mean my coworker is constantly on her cell phone and ignores patients when they come in.

I am constantly taking care of patient after patient and I have reported this and still nothing happened my coworker still continues to be on her cell phone. How

Details
I went to the silver spring plum orchard drive location. The lab tech Ben told me they couldn't do the bilirubin test on my child because she's too young (8days old) and they don't have the table for her. I called all the other locations for lab Corp and they said that's ridiculous because the parents hold the child while they preform the test. I called him and confronted him and he said the procedure will be difficult and we won't get enough sample and I said how do you know and he said because I have done it before. I said but every child is different and how can other lab corps do it then but not you. I'm highly upset and disappointed because this test needs to be done immediately my child is yellow and might have jaundice and need the results to know if she needs to be admitted at the hospital.

I have tried calling cudtomer service this morning, I was on hold 20+ minutes the first time and I'm not dure second time. No answer and the most annoying music plsyed over and over. The I tried calling the local lab and the phone rang busy. I'm wonfering if you system is fow. If not, you need to hire more prople. I have been a labcorp customer since it came to Frederick. The last timr I was there the employees were so frazzled. That has not been an observance quite often. Stop being so interedted in saving money and give your employees some help and patients better service!

Labcorp Blood Count Review from Baltimore, Maryland

Facility hours posted to open at 7:00am. Watched a staff person walk into facility at 7:00am and open doors at 7:02am. Registration staff chatting and watching TV while processing our two customers paperwork. Received my blood draw at 7:20 AM The person who took my blood was very nice and professional and skilled. Wait time not awful but Hoping Lab Corp Quakertown will fine tune their business practices! Especially since they are contracted by insurance companies and customers therefore don't have the liberty to seek care elsewhere! The elderly person waiting for the lab to open commented that it's very difficult in the winter when it opens late.

Details
Got called up slmost 10 min past my scheduled appointment time, mafe mistake on my personal information, and left off a whole order of doctors requested lab work. Staff did alot of extra chit-chat with certain patients. Then i was told to review my own lab slip regarding the doctor's orders.

My doctor order blood work on october 11 2012 lab corp reported they lost it and I have to give another blood after a week I have another set blood work orderd the same thing thing happen I never seen any unprofessional work like this I was very disappointed they are so unprofessional.!!!!!! I will nerver recomment for any body unfortunatley the doctors pick them as a patien we dont have a choice can you imagine they will lose the same person blood work with one week interval it is just bizaras a patient I will never deal with them in the future.
