I asked LabCorp if they accept Aetna insurance. They said yes and I gave them my card.

What they don't tell you is that they will bill Aetna, but Aetna does not accept the billing, so you are stuck with the entire lab bill out of pocket.

It is hard for me to believe that LabCorp does not know that a huge company like Aetna does accept LabCorp.

If you are going to have labs drawn, check with your insurance carrier before you chose a lab. Do not assume just because the lab takes your insurance card that your insurance will pay for it!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $700.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

LabCorp Pros: Painless blood draw.

LabCorp Cons: Dishonesty about insurance.
