I have a situation that I had a pre-employment drug test at labcorp in Hollywood, Florida on June 7th. I was very hesitant about the tactic used when testing with the rep. She refused to close my test and follow the protocol. She had me sign the form immediately after...

LabCorp review in Miami, Florida: Slave work

It use to be a nice company to work for until they fired all the good workers.you get no 15 min breaks,no lunch,no bathroom break, just slave like a dog.patient waiting for hours because it's only three people in the site to work the boss be call he or she said they don't have nobody to send so that means patients sit for hours. Because they don't care if they did they will have the site staff not three employees working to data entry phlebotomy, and process the blood.something have to be done sad those bosses you have young and don't know *** they done give a dam about they employees or *** patients I'm writing this from experience .

Labcorp Staff Review from Miami, Florida

1.0
Details
Rude staff! Sloooooowwwwww! Front desk lady even had me wait for 30 minutes, just to tell me my son and I couldn't be seen without actual insurance cards, she couldn't have informed me of that when I first walked up to the counter, not like I just drove 20 min to get here or anything. Alas my license and policy number would not suffice. 30 more minutes we went hungry and thirsty to be turned away. Nice!! Save yourself from a bad day and horrible customer service. We will next be trying quest who I called and they said all they needed was my license and policy number lol, they must have a newer system?..maybe labcorp bills in morris code or something..we might try martin bloodwork even, anywhere but labcorp!

Labcorp in North Miami staff is not trained to work with babies

1.5
Details
I have two little girls, an infant and a toddler that needed blood work. As soon as we got to LabCorp in the North Miami location the girls weren't greeted by the staff they just asked me to place them in my lap and two nurses went straight to hold the baby and put the needle of course my little girl freaked out and started crying so I asked to let her go to try to calm her down, they did not try to make her feel comfortable, nor play with her nothing.. The staff had no idea how to deal with little kids, the receptionist was annoyed by the noise that came and close the door and said that the girls were making too much noise. A different nurse came because the other couldn't do it. When they started again my daughter was so scared that she cried, she kicked and they kept pocking her with needle over and over again in both arm they torture her so much.. I didn't leave because she was going to be scared if I took her somewhere else (what a mistake I should of got them out of there but I didn't want to put them thru the same thing again), now is the turn for the infant and the same thing happened.. I tried to talk to the manager to complaint about the lack of training to see kids at this location and she said that it was her lunch time, that she was going to eat... This location should not see kids!!! Pediatrics are not easy and this location is not prepared for such delicate job.. Don't put babies and parents thru *** by offering service to little ones, Labcorp in North Miami just can not do that job.

Labcorp - Bad Service Review from Miami, Florida

Arrived at 7:33 for 7:30 appointment. This is the most disorganized place I ever been! They did not look at whether the appointment box was checked (I noticed that no one before me had an appointment). After four people before me were called I asked and got look at like I was. Well I forgot my ins. card do I had to have that faxed. It sat in the fax for 15 minutes. Finally after getting my ins card out of the fax she said she had to call to check if I was covered. I told her I've been to lab corp many times it is a$30.00 co pay. I finally had to leave they were so disorganized.

Appointment Schedule Review

I scheduled an appointment for lab work despite that an appointment is not "required". Last time I walked-in without an appointment, I waited for two hours. So, I arrive with an appointment and proceed to wait and wait and wait. Phlebotomist never takes my paperwork, and never calls be back up. It's been over an hour and I'm still waiting. What's the purpose of having an appointment??!!

Labcorp - Scheduled Appointment Review from Miami, Florida

Arrived promptly for my appt. at the Royal Palm Beach location, but soon realized having an appt. means nothing! One lady running the whole thing with a computer down. Can you say lab collection errors?? This is ridiculous! My specimen should have been labeled before it left the room. It was not. The over stressed lady left with them unlabeled. The situation was not fair to all the waiting people and the lady who worked there. Makes me wonder about the integrity of my lab results... Wake up Labcorp managers and owners!!! People's life's are on the line. Serious lab errors can occur because of mislabeling and other collection errors.

LabCorp Irresponsable

I went to Labcorp to get some very important blood work done. After doing it, they didn't sent it to the doctor or myself. Now, they are charging me and calling to pay the bill. How can I pay, if I didn't received the results on time. After a few weeks, they sent it. DO they understand the word "important"????? The doctor had to call in order to get the results, I lost my first appointment with the doctor, last week I had to schedule another appointment, for the doctor to discuss old results and tell me that I needed to get this blood work done AGAIN. agh!

I am a lc employee and just wanted to say that I apologize if your results did not get to your physician in a timely fashion. But I also want to say that nine times out of ten those results were sent the physian it takes about 24 to 48 hours to get the results to the Dr for routine test and aolt of the times the dr's nurses and medical assistant are to lazy to go and look for the patients chart to see if they are in there so blame it on the lab routine blood work is majority of the time sent ove the next day and depending on how your dr's account is set up with us they fet it faxed and mailed a hard copy some dr's has printer that c/s sends thru there so the next time that you have blood just please call us and we will be happy to send them and I am extremely sorry that they weren't there for you.
