LABCORPS Intimidations Tactics

1.3
Details
Once again, I have received a fake "collections notice" for an outstanding balance that I am receiving for the very first time. LabCorps thinks that sending a phony collection notice for amounts my insurance company has not supposedly paid, will get me to send them a check. Now I'm fighting back. This is why the Federal Consumer Protection Board was created. It's where this invoice is heading to. Rude, unprofessional, uncaring and unwarranted. The invoice threatens to "place my account with a third party collections agency." Well, I'm threatening back. This is no way to treat anyone with a terminal illness.

LabCorp Pre-employment Drug Screen Held For 14 Days

I gave my urine specimen on May 31st. It arrived at the actual lab on June 1st for testing. My labs did not get released until June 14th. After the first few business days, I started calling to check status and each time was told rudely that it was in process. After 10 days, I started politely asking if it was possible that the lab technician simply forgot to transmit my results and was told "maam, it is in process." Even a phone rep should realize when something may have gone awry in the lab and take measures to investigate the problem. Luckily, my prospective employer was patient and did not pull the offer. However, because of their screw up, I could only give one week notice to my current employer!

I’m going through the same thing here in Northern Virginia. It’s been over a week since I went and took the drug test, and now every time I call, all anyone can tell me is that “it’s being processed”.

This entire situation is screwing up my ability to give my current employer a notice, and I they have no idea when the test will be complete.

I’ve take many drugs tests before and none of them have taken over a week! The employees at Labcorp are rude and seem like they don’t care about anything, I’m starting to wonder if they lost my test all together!

Who does LabCorp think they are? I changed insurance companies at the beginning of this year and my LabCorp bill wasn't sent in properly by my Family Practitioner's office. LabCorp sent me a huge bill that looks like it would be sent to someone who didn't...

LabCorp is an unethical and unprofessional company. They lied to me by asking for my credit card for "identification" purposes.

Then they charged my credit card without my knowledge or approval.

They are very corrupt and I will never go there again. I will use Quest or another lab in the future.

LabCorp review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Receptionist with bad attitude

Receptionist at LabCorp in Carson California got a bad attitude and bad patient customer service. I was in the lab office at 7:58AM and my appointment is 8:00AM, i signed in on their clip board without specifying my appoinment time, cause i notice that all the appointment time is blank. But when I turn in my papers works, the appointment time shown on it. By the way I been waiting for 20 minutes, and the nurse shows up on the door, and she asked if there's anyone who the appointment is 8:30AM, in which a lady raise her hand and called in inside. I was confuse because my appointment is 8:00Am, but then she asked for 8:30AM, i ask the receptionist, Why call 8:30AM and not 8:00AM, she gave me a nasty respond. By the way, to make it short the place (Labcorp Carson California)receptionist and nurse does not act proffesional and no care for patients.

your grammar is horrible. However, I think there is a prerequisite to work as a receptionist at this place.

I had AWFUL experience at a Chicago suburb location. Complete Nazi of a woman...seemed like she hated life and everyone in it.

you probably didn't mark your appointment time on the sheet. the sign in sheet clearly shows a bubble to mark if you have an appointment and a space on the sign in sheet to write your appointment time. judging by your lack of writing skills and grammar, you most likely caused your own headache in this matter.

That happened to me once. I had an 11:00 appointment at an insurance company and I was waiting.

At 11:30 a man came in and asked who has an 11:30 appt.

and another person waiting said he did and he went inside. I walked out.

LabCorp review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Office Closing East Liverpool, Ohio

Today, Oct. 31st I went to the East Liverpool, Ohio "Lab Corp" to get my quarterly blood work done. While there I read a notification that on Nov. 23, 2011 that location would be closing. What are the people in our area supposed to do, where are we to go? The Lab is 5 miles from my home and work making it super convient to get my blood work drawn and still be able to make it to work on time. I feel that another look at this establishment (number of customers) is warrented to determin if it is in the best interest to close it.

LabCorp is GHETTO! The people that work there are like street people!

Yuck! And, they have no business asking for a credit card. I imagine it was so they could bill it, in case your insurance did not pick up all charges.

What do they do when the person has no credit card? I wouldn't give them a CC # for any reason.
