Millie is HORRIBLE AND RUDE

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I made my appointment for October 5th 2015 and 10:00 AM. I arrived at 9:35. Within moments I was asked for my Lab order, insurance card, and photo ID. My doctor had made a mistake and did not specify the length of the ordered glucose test so the office manager Karen was able to contact my doctor’s office after I had failed to establish connection due to a weak signal strength. 15 after ten o clock I was called to the back. The women that called me was Millie, she has short blonde hair and with pink higlights. Being that his was my first time in a LabCorp office I sat on the grey chair, she looked at the order of test needed to complete my visit and seemed very annoyed. She then got a small white basket and threw yes threw the vials into the basket. She muttered something and I didn’t understand what she had said, she then repeated it and I still did not understand due to her accent. Which was fine then she yelled the third time “ARE YOU PREGNANT?” I then answered and said oh I am sorry I did not understand you but no I am not pregnant. She then took my bag and other belongings and rested it on the counter. She looked at my arms for the veins and told me I was supposed to be drinking water and that it would be hard to draw the blood I informed her I was drinking water and due to my doctors request I was to be fasting prior to my appointment. She stuck the needle into my left arm and filled about 2 and half vials she was very rough and gave no warning or anything. She then took to my palm and tuned it over and stuck me where my fingers where which hurt very badly as there was once again no warning or conversation of what she was about to do. She not once looked at my right arm to take the blood from. Using where my fingers were she was able to fill up another 1 and a half the vials. She then PULLED out the needle and yelled “ DONNA” Requesting her to come and help her. She had no communication to me about what was going on or why she was calling Donna. Donna then came into the room and Millie asked her for help. Donna then looked at Millie’s tray with my vials that were fill and empty. Donna then asked Millie to simply organize what was done and what needed to be finished. Millie pulled the tray from Donnas had walked over to the Biohazard trash can and DUMPED ALL THE VIALS THAT HAD BLOOD AND THAT HAD NO BLOOD!!!!! INFRONT OF ME!!!! Donna said are you serious!?! Then Millie said yes and walked out Donna did as well. Donna came back and looked at my order got the vials then she started taking a look at my right arm. I started crying, I was looking forward to this appointment due to health issue that need to be cleared up based on the results of the this test. Donna left the room when she noticed I was crying. She then bought Karen the office manager in to talk to me and asked me what happened. I explained to her everything that had happened then she called Millie into the room when Karen asked Millie about what had occurred Millie then lied and said that everything she threw away was empty! Then I said um I don’t care if I get aids but ill dig in that biohazard and show you the full vials of my blood!!!! Then Millie walked out Karen told me to come back in the morning on Tuesday. I agreed and left, crying and in shock. I arrived at 7:27 the next morning Millie was at the window she didn’t say good morning or anything not once did she apologize to me. Donna called me in the back drew my blood started the glucose test and was finished by 10:00. I will only go back if Donna and Karen are there Millie deserves to be reprimanded by the company she is rough, inconsiderate, and horrible.

Labcorp Appointment Review from Utica, New York

I'm sitting here in Utica NY noticing this as well. I was told at my last draw by the very nice phlebe that I could maybe an appt and anyone who has an appt has to be seen first. So I made 7am appt when I would normally fight to be among the first at the locked door at 6:30. I got here at 6:54 with a waiting room of about 8 people ahead of me. I checked the circle that says I have an appointment and write 7:00 next to it. It is now 7:23 and they are just taking people as they signed in. Mind you, I'm the only one with an appt on the list. Maybe having given my insurance info ahead of time will at least expedite my own experience. If they ask for it all over again, there will be words.

Lab corp summerville sc. Collection site. Front staff extremly condescending Spanish speaking lady named Waunita At the front desk was making awful comments about her patients not knowing the people in the waiting room could hear her. Lab corp evidently doesnt care who they have working for them. I wont go back too many places my entire family can go.

Labcorp Blood Count Review

Went in for basic blood draw for CBC & some other tests. When I asked for a butterfly I was laughed at & the tech said "for that?" like I was an ***. Then she tied my arm severely tight(more than it's usually done) & dug the needle into my arm. I developed a big lump & giant bruise on my arm that is still visible after 4 days. I have numerous blood draws done & this was the worst one yet.

Could not get my blood

After chasing my vein around in both arms I had to go home and come back another day. They use students. When I try to make an apointment with a manager there is NO way to reach a person. My Dr will only allow me to use Labcorp to keep untiformy in the results. I have called 4 differnt loacations and never got a person just answering machines that never replied to my message. I sent an email to the support email and still not return email or call.

Rude receptionist

I went to the labcorp location in inverness Fl. with 2 lab orders, one from my family physician and one from my cardiologist. I requested that the results from both tests be sent to each doctor. The reply was "we don't do this" with no further explanation. I then requested that the results also be nailed to me. The receptionist then replied "we don't do this." The has to write in his own handwriting on the lab order an order to do this! Oh? Is this laziness on the receptionist's part, are they hiding behind the hippaa law which specifically allows this type of information exchange, or company policy? The only worse place I've had to deal with was the social security office in Ocala.

You probably don't want to hear this but the receptionist was absolutely RIGHT! Unless it's written on the order or stamped on the order(s) by a verifiable person from the doctor's office, it is ILLEGAL to do that. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Labcorp Blood Count Review from Los Angeles, California

I brought my son to the lab located on "12730 Heacock St, Moreno Valley, CA 92553" on 12/15/15 and I wish I never did. Our entire experience with LabCorp was very unprofessional to say the least. The nurse that drew my one-year-old son's blood handled him very roughly, and left bruises on his arm because of how forceful and aggressive she was with him. Her attitude was unpleasant the entire time and she didn't even greet us upon entering and when I asked her if there's a different way to draw blood from a one year old, she said no and if you want you can take him to the hospital and it'll be the same. Now my son is not the same as he was before our visit to the lab. He's been crying a lot, wakes up crying, only sleeps for an hour the most, it's been 6 days and the bruises are still on his arm, not from the needle but from her hand. He's not as active anymore, and barely eats. He doesn't even trust me anymore. Whenever I take him out and put him in his car seat, he starts crying in fear, it's really heartbreaking. I hope my son will get better soon, and this incident won't leave a permanent mark on his behavior. Hopefully this won't happen to other kids. Definitely not coming here for any blood work again!

Labcorp Staff Review

The Oxon hill staff is awful. Very unprofessional. They seem to do no work and always having conversations lid about unappriate things. Don't seem to care about your time at all. I'm looking for a different company or just go to the hospital.

This is the second time that my lab tests request was not completely fullfilled by the operator drawing blood and that some of the lab tests were missing and i had to retake them. The irony is that they want to be paid for their mistakes. I had to go twice for the venipunture and instead of profusely apologize for causing me such loss of work time and grief, i get a bill.

Won't answer their phone

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

LabCorp took my blood and allegedly performed a number of tests two weeks ago. My ordering physician has not received the results, and every time I call the LabCorp phone, I get "We are unable to process your call at this time, please try again later." So there is no way to communicate with them in person about where my missing tests are.

The only options the phone number seems to work for is finding out the location of a LabCorp office or paying your bill. Getting answers about your missing results is not an option.

I am waiting to be hired for a job but it has been 10 days and labcorp has not sent me or the employer the lab results. I was told 48 hours but it has been 240.

I’m afraid if they take too long I will miss out on a job opportunity. This place is awful.

Yes they never answer or call back. Whats sad about it is they dont have to because no one is going to make them.

Labcorp Drug Test Review from Clayton, Ohio

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I've been there twice for new employee drug screens. First of all, their operation hours are impossible for a person who works a full time job. The first time I went on a Saturday morning before Christmas - winter break. They had 1 person in office performing all tasks. There were about 20 people in the waiting room and only 1 person to process them all. I waited 1.5 hours for a simple drug test. The second time, I arrived 3 minutes past 11 am on a Saturday morning and they refused to take me even though they were still oppen. They were rude, unsympathetic, and unaccomodating regardless of the tight timeline I was on. HORRIBLE customer service. Ruined my morning and inconvenienced me greatly.

Labcorp Urine Test Review from Lake Charles, Louisiana

Labcorp has messed up my urine specimen results!! For a fact! I take my medicine every day! and I had a false negative and now my doctor(my new doctor whom chooses LabCorp) has cut my medicine in half. This happened yesterday. this is so bad and is going to affect my life in so many ways not to mention having to sit there and be judged as if I was lying and being belittled all because of LabCorp I am trying to do my own research to prove myself. I pray that I can figure this out I dont know what to do now. I called labcorp and was given no information. I was told that only my Dr could ask for information(about me!) I want to know their statistics and what types of tests they use(inexpensive or expensive) I did some research and it says that if a cheap test is administered it can be up to 48percent chance of false positives. Please doctors and patients do your research before you chose someone to test people with something this serious, potentially life threatening. One more thing, my doctors office never has me sign my specimen cup or paper or anything at all. Isn't that illegal or something. Pray for me. I'm tired of doctors and comnpanies like this with their disrespectful annoyance so pray for them.

It all depends on what you doctor ordered. And if you have insurance, it's billed to them and any balance ie co pay will be your responsibility.

All labs ie Labcorp, Quest, BioReference, etc will have their own prices, some may be more or less than the other.

***, if you go to the hospital, you're going to pay more. Sorry to say but that's the way of the world.
