LabCorp review in Baltimore, Maryland: Incompetent staff

I need to go back to LabCorp because on September 24, 2009 they mishandled 6 tubes of blood at the 9106 Philadelphia Rd, Baltimore facility. As a result, I have lost invaluable time. They didn't even bother to call me or my doctor. But I should not complain since they have kindly agreed not to charge me a single penny for the venipuncture service. At least that is what Customer Service told me. We'll see... So, thank you LabCorp for not charging me for the test results my doctor NEVER received because your staff is incompetent and has not learned to follow specific instructions for a specific blood test.

I feel your pain. LabCorp mishandled 3 vials of my blood and they "deteriorated during specimen handling." I could tell from the moment those people opened their mouths that they were ***.

I also left with a severely bruised arm. It has also been over a week and my arm continues to feel sore from where the incompetent technician drew blood.

My wife and I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance with a $10 co-pay to the doctor and all lab work paid. My wife had some test done and the doctor sent the samples to Lab Corp. The doctor, who we have had for years, sent the insurance information. 3 weeks later we...

The LabCorp at 5750 W. Thunderbird in Glendale, Arizona is terrible! Both times that I've gone, there's been a totally full waiting room. (Even though there are about 30 chairs, the regulars who have standing orders bring their own folding chairs [seriously, I'm not...

LabCorp review in Barrington, Illinois: Rude

Hoffman Estates, Illinois office- July 2008 I left a voicemail and never received a return call. I went to the office and the lady at the desk was rude and impatient. I was inquiring about special directions my doctor attached to my test and she told me that was Labcorp's business. I remained polite and left. I'm guessing the standard's aren't very high to work there if you can't even get subpar customer service. On top of that she seemed very quick to be defensive which usually means your not on the up and up.

Last week, either Wednesday or Thursday, July 9th or 10th, I took my daughter to the LabCorp service center located at 9801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD for prescreening drug testing. We arrived at approximately 3:30 pm. The staff was sitting in a circle talking,...

Tar322,

Did they give you a copy of your specimen ID number? This should have been located at the top of your drug screen chain of custody form that should have been given to you after the collection.

This is your proof that you went in for collection. Your employer can call for results if they have that number. They can not give you the results, but can the employer.

They can look it up only with that ID number when all else fails. Some times when the patients name is not written clearly they have a difficult time finding the results in the computer because something has been spelled wrong.

LabCorp review in Chantilly, Virginia: Where's my blood?

Are you really LabCorp? You have a very evasive system. My doctor did not get my lime disease blood test results: how can I call him to complain? Then I cannot get through to the LabCorp location in Saugerties NY because of the routing of your phone - so how do I find out what happened to the results of the test? You are being deliberately uncooperative if things go wrong and your system screws up. No wonder you have a special pissed off website. Email me at teacher.stuart@gmail.com and tell me about my test. Just to add to the insult, I see that you've got a laywer to protect this site?????

I went to the Whiting, NJ office this morning, 11/30/07 (11:45AM), to get a simple sugar screening blood work. However, with only 2 other people waiting in the wait area, I gave up after sitting there 15 minutes! Please note that not a single person was called in or...
