Unprofessional People Review

These people are very unprofessional. Bill collecting is still a way of customer service, maybe you can try asking me " how may we assist you" or greeting and then stating they would like an account number to get things started. Every time I make a call these women are rude, its hard to make sure i get all of the information and questions I need because they give little information and in a rush to get off the line.

LabCorp in Charlottesville, Virginia - Got wrong response from the attendee

My doctor has faxed the test prescription but the lab attendee was so rude that she replied that they didn't receive so we have to visit doctor for prescription..!!! But they confirmed that they have already sent it. While checking again with Lab, we came to know that lab attendee has entered wrong spell for the name and hence she couldn't find the my name!!! What a shame!! and she was showing me the attitude that she already looked in to the system..!!! ***!! Time, money wasted and mental stress!! :( Never gonna go to this lab... :(

Labcorp - Staff Review from Congers, New York

Labcorp which used to be on Oak Tree in Edison, now moved to Park Ave. My mother just returned from routine blood work. The gauze covering her puncture is soaked in blood. There is already a huge bruise forming. The woman drawing her blood had her make a fist, then inserted the needle, and began speaking in her language to someone else - completely distracted and not even looking at what she was doing while drawing my mom's blood! Then she yelled at my mom for not opening her fist. I am infuriated. There should be a no tolerance policy for this type of behavior. It is totally unprofessional! My mom got her blood drawn at about 2:30pm July 11,2014 at the Park Ave location. The woman was of Indian descent. I really hope someone reads this and reprimands this shift of employees. Disgusting!!!

LabCorp wanted far more from me than from Blue Cross Blue Shield

So, here we have the usual story. Doctor orders a blood draw, which is then sent to LabCorp for testing. When LabCorp submits its claim to my insurance, they ask for $66. Of course, BC/BS allows for a lesser amount, pays it, and everything's processed. Meanwhile, LabCorp starts sending me invoices, probably two a week. These invoices are not for a co-pay, not for the remainder after BC/BS's allowed payable amount, not even for the $66 total charge, which would have been fraudulent enough. Nope, these invoices are beseeching me in large bold print to protect my credit by immediately remitting my balance due in the amount of... wait for it... $204. Yyyeeeaaahhh.

Sounds like the insurance only the 66 after you met your deductible. Pay your bill.
