LabCorp in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania - Lost a test and now received bill for someone else at my address

I've been really unimpressed with LabCorp since my insurance switched to them as a preferred lab provider. First they never sent my results to my doctor but I was able to download them online... however, I had to have a test redone and never got any results for that. Apparently they lost it. Then, I get home one day this week and there's a bill for someone else with my address.... to my knowledge this person has NEVER lived here and I've been here 5 years. So either they messed up my name or have someone erroneously linked to my address. No confidence in their abilities at all.

LabCorp in Bellevue, Washington - Horrible Experience. Only 1 person working in the entire Lab.

I thought I would write and share my experience at LabCorp. I went to the one on 116th in Bellevue WA on Nov 11th, 2014. There was only 1 person working there. She worked the front desk checking people in and she was also the person doing the blood draws and the prep for sending the specimens off for testing. She told me that she was a floater and that they had one person out on FMLA and another I don’t recall why they were out, so she was it. She was nice enough, but in my opinion, very unprofessional talking about other patients in other rooms and not speaking quietly. One patient in particular she was having problems drawing her blood, she wouldn’t drain. That is a HIPPA violation to say the least. (I saw the poor girl as she was leaving, young and it was quite apparent she was severely ill) Secondly, it was by far the most painful needle stick I have ever encountered. It hurt the whole time it was in me. The only relief was when she turned while holding the last vial and mistakenly yanked it out of my arm. She shook the partially filled tube and said, “I think we’re okay.”

LabCorp in Chicago, Illinois - Extremely poor Customer Service front desk staff

Ocoee Lab - Front desk staff has poor customer services skills. Does not interact properly with client and rudeness is like a gift for her, to say the least. If. the first contact with a costumer is like that, I can visualize what the rest of the team will do to you. I will never use this branch and will make sure not to recommend this branch to anyone I know (I do work in healthcare, and take good care of my patients). Labcorp should focus on the front line and first contact people they hire for this position. They must not only understand and speak better English but also posses the know how of how to get along with high end/demand customers.

LabCorp in San Francisco, California - Contradictory Lab Results

I had a very sensitive test done that proved to be false-positive. All of the doctors were telling me that there is not a problem with the test and if the test said I was positive then I was positive. I insisted on another test and turns out I am negative. I cannot tell you the anguish and confusion I felt for several weeks before finally receiving the correct result. I think that LabCorp is the McDonald's of lab work. They probably over work and under pay their workers who are so overwhelmed they don't care whether they properly test the specimen. And a lot of lives are getting screwed up as a result. Our lives depend on reliable test results, which requires the use of skilled technicians who earn a living wage. Wake up LabCorp and stop worrying about people's lives rather than your bottom line! That's what I think, anyway.

LabCorp in Irvine, California - Will never use Lab Corp again

I received a letter October 24, 2014 from a collection agency saying I hadn't paid a $10 co-pay for some lab work done at Lab Corp on February 11, 2013. I called the number on the notice and explained I had not received a bill from Lab Corp for that date of service. I had not gone to Lab Corp on the date in question, but I did have a doctor's visit and paid a $10 co-pay to that doctor. Possibly, the doctor's office had sent some test to the lab, but I had not received an original bill or any subsequent notice. I explained I always pay my co-pays either at the time of service or as soon as I receive a bill. I had paid several other co-pays to Lab Corp after that February date. I told her I was shocked that it had gone directly to a collection agency without receiving a 1st or 2nd notice. I tried to get more information, but I was told that my only options were to pay the bill, either by phone, which would tack on another $7.95 to the $10 owed, or I could pay by check without paying the extra $7.95. I chose to send a check as it wasn't worth the trouble to keep fighting it. But, I am certain that I will never use Lab Corp again.

I been asking my grandmother and my mother, why we can't go to another lab.. But I guess we are sctok here because of their insurances. A list with my insurance I do not have that problem and I can chose a different Lab. Thanks God. Ridiculous time consumer.!!!!!!!! I hope they can fix this problem.. All you can here on the waiting area are people complaining. Waiting over 1 1/2 hr. And still counting. Please, understand they are others Lab doing the same with a lot Less time consumer. Check their sisten and implement this for you. I think that will make people happy.
