Staff Review

Lack of customer service is highly evident with lab corp. Staff is rude and dismissive of customers patients. Poor communication. Facility is dirty old And not well kept.

Don't bother to make an appointment, as they don't honor them. One person is totally swamped--this demonstrates obvious management incompetence. Expect to take at least a half day off from work. Is this a conspiracy with the insurance company? Never had these problems with Quest diagnostics. Why can't we choose the lab to do our work? The company then might care about customer service. This company doesn't care about customer service. If I ran my business this way, I would be out of business. They were 1.25 hours late for the appointment, and seemed to just go in order of those who had appointments and those who didn't.

Several of my doctors use labcorp to analyze samples. The only time I have a billing problem is with labcorp. They never have complete insurance information and when they do not get reimbursed contact me for the information that the doctor's office gave them in the first place. They state that it is not their policy to contact the doctor that sent them the sample and it is up to me to either furnish the information or contact the doctor to have them resend the insurance data. I do not know if their analysis of my samples is accurate but I do know that their office staff is sub-par. If it was just one doctor I could believe it was a doctor's office problem but when samples from numerous doctors result in problems it is evident that labcorp is deficient. I have left work with my doctors to not send any lab work to labcorp for analysis and I recommend that everyone else do the same.

I went to the Labcorp at lionville Pensylvania on Saturday @ 11.45 am. I was able to see the staff inside and inspite of me knocking several times they ignored me and never bothered to answer . They are supposed to be open till 12 noon. Very disappointed with their rude behavior

LabCorp in Huntington, New York - 75 Minutes Wait Tme, Employees arguing as to who was going to do what

When I went into the Commack, NY, office this morning, I thought it was a bad sign that there were eight people ahead of me in the waiting room. But since there were FIVE employees there, I thought maybe things would move quickly. WRONG! For 30 minutes, no one came in or out of the patient rooms. The women working there were arguing among themselves as to who was going to draw blood, who was going to work the desk, etc. One woman tried to take control and assign people to tasks but they refused to do what what she said. They did not even ask for my lab orders until I was there over an hour. I go to LabCorps because that is one of the few labs that is an approved provider on my insurance. I am going to contact my carrier and will tell them of my poor experience there, ONCE AGAIN, and I will refuse to go there ever again. Incidentally, when I was FINALLY called in, the procedure from start to finish took 45 seconds. Poor management, inefficient personnel, place could be cleaner, indifferent attitude towards clients, ridiculous business model.

I am currently an employee with LABCORP. Since the day I started working for this company I have been very uncomfortable. The upper staff and majority of the staff are prejudice and it shows daily. The only thing that is keeping me with this company is the pay and the needs for my children. Over all o have to say if were a patient I would not use their services at all.

I'll never step foot in a Labcorp facility again

Over many years I've put up with the wait times, general uncaring demeanor and just lousy attitude. I've gone through it for tests for my kids and for myself. Today was the last time. After 50 minutes and multiple calls for anyone needing a pre-employment screening to come ahead of anyone else, I called my physician's office and asked for a lab work order to any other facility available. The next lab facility took all of about 5 minutes from start to finish. The lady who took the sample told me she'd worked for Labcorp years ago at a different location and quit after a couple of months because the organization is operated without a care regarding patient wait times or how the employees are understaffed. She couldn't take it. Neither will I from now on. Life is too short and other options are available. What kind of executive leadership would allow for such poor customer service record to exist year after year and so many locations?
