LabCorp in Westwood, New Jersey - They would not fax my results to more then one Doctor. Ridiculous it is my blood work...

Went for blood work asked them to fax it to two doctors, one for which I would be seeing in a week. They said they could only fax one copy. Are you kidding me... So they said they would mail me a copy and I could give it to the second doctor really still waiting. I called the support number online and was told that that wasn't true they could fax it to as many doctors as I needed. So I asked them to fax me a copy they said NO we cannot you will have your doctors office request it. IT IS MY BLOOD WORK!!!! Don't you think I should be able to have a copy of my blood work!!! What a way to run a business...

I went to this labcorp and they are always busy, the woman behind the desk, I think her name is Tammy, she orders people around and tells you in a nasty manner to just sign in and sit down. After waiting for over two hours, and listening to her be rude and watching people go in that came in after me, I went to Valrico labcorp. Jackie could not have been nicer, very gentle, always in a good mood. I will go back and see her from now on. She even gave me some candy afterwards, she is amazing. Thanks

Lab tech who drew my blood lectured me in a shaming way about how "you need to trust the person who's trying to help you," said not once but multiple times, all because I wanted to sit in the chair the same way I always do, and she wanted me to turn the chair to a different angle. Literally talked to me as you would to a 4-year-old, and in a sing-song voice no less. You have GOT to be kidding me. Person who checked me in was also rude, abrupt, and impatient, and I was the only patient there! Inexcusable behavior.

Staff standing around talking while 9 people in waiting room. They open at 7:00 am but never call anyone in before 7:30. Hours open 7:00-3:00 suck as well.

Labcorp - Blood Test Review from Sewell, New Jersey

As a regular at labcorp I've noticed what many of these other reviewers have been experiencing the same thing I have. Long waits and especially the awful service. I am not blaming the employees that work there, however I feel there are too many patience and not enough employees and they are rushing through blood tests and potentially putting people in danger. That being said I experienced an issue where the man taking my blood was rushing because he was the only one working and this caused damage to me. He hit a nerve and has resulted in extreme pain and discomfort. I am now in a sling from the er and have to go to multiple doctors to figure out exactly what is wrong. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything I can do for this. And be helped for the pain I've gone through after taking a routine blood test.

I was called by my specialist to tell me that they would be closing at noon (they had schedule me in error) and that I would need to schedule with LabCorp if I wanted to get my labwork done that day (Dec 31). She said the lab order would be put into the system within an hour (this was at 10:30am). I made an appointment for 2:30 with LabCorp on Falls of Neuse in Raleigh, NC and arrived at 2:00. I approached and asked if they had the order for my labwork. She half-butt searched and stated it was not in the system. This meant I was not getting labwork done and would be getting this labwork in the new year (new deductible!). I called my specialist's office at 8:00am Jan 2 (closed for new years day, there was no time for them to put in an order after my visit to LabCorp) and inquired about LabCorp not having the lab order. The office assistant/receptionist stated it was in the system and gave in the order number. Thank you LabCorp for starting my new deductible, :-P

Details
This is the most demeaning and humiliating place to go to in the universe. I have had to complete several pre-employment urine tests over the course of my career, and everytime it's the same old thing. The employees treat you as if you're *** and are completely rude. They point and order you around as if you're a dog. There is definitely a trend at LabCorp and I guarantee you it starts at the top. I can't believe that they're still in business after all these years. The location on Thunderbird in Glendale, AZ is probably the worst facility in all of the Phoenix area.

It's just as horrible in Denver. Scheduling by phone and web don't work due to chronic technical difficulties. Walk-ins are treated with tremendous disrespect and the receptionist does everything in her power to demean and delay clients.

This is true. They do not do testing.

Quest Diagnostics has the former head of parasitology for the CDC testing for things like fasciola hepatica... for Quest... as for lab corps, they are great for other things... but not parasites.

The CDC is the best place to go straight away for parasite testing. I had a previous tapeworm infection from South Korea. All the wrong testing for 3 years in the US. The US medical system in general has very little knowledge of overseas illnesses, or how to diagnose them properly.

Period. Was so disappointed.

As soon as I am well, I will never return to the US with an overseas infection. Even Mayo Clinic got it wrong.

Preferred solution
Labcorp needs to specifically address their inability to perform parasite testing/evaluation. If they have labs that are genuinely capable of such testing, they need to advertise which labs are equipped to do so.

Patient Care Review

Labcorp loop kissimmee. Has 2 employees to take care about 20 patients, in 1 hour they take care of 5 patients. They don't know how do the papers work and nothing.
