Phlebotomist Review

Phlebotomist not performing proper technique. Cross contaminating gloves..putting on gloves then touches mouse on computer...places vials into pocket, palpates vein numerou s times after wiping with alcohol, inserts needle draws blood into vial then put blood vials back into same pocket. Seems like there is lack of supervision!

Everytime I come for lab work, there are many people waiting for service. Most of the time there is only one person drawing blood, front help is gone from desk helping in back. Who is in charge?

For Labcorp to be providing a life sustaining service, I don't understand why I cannot speak with a live human being and I don't understand why they cannot provide a customer service 800# (or any number) for their customers on their website. I tried submitting a survey question to get a response, but I needed an immediate answer. So I called the 800# for "Billing" which they listed clearly and up front and was transfered to customer service. There are so many questions a person could have about blood testing that a website cannot possibly answer. Mr. Dave King (CEO Labcorp), please simplify the process for your customers and provide an 1-800 Customer Service number, placed on the home page of your website, for your customer's convenience.

As a former employee it is extremely hard to answer the phone when you work by yourself and you have a room full of people as well as having 3 to 4 patients in different rooms and running back and forth trying to get everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible done . Labcorp does not care about their patients nor their employees all they care about is making money and it is sad all I can say is I'm sorry

I am a field RN who works with home bound patients, we bring tubes in for processing occasionally. It's been my experience the staff works harder at getting out of processing your specimens instead of just doing it.

Me and My husband went to Labcorp on West 38 th street Austin,texas for Tests.there is a lady who drew our blood sample ,she is very unprofessional both skill and etiquette wise.She pricked my arm several times but couldnot locate a vein and she put the torniquette so tight that it hurt like *** and when i told her she replied very rudely that you will be stuck here.Same happened with my husband ,she was not able to take blood sample and my husband had to ask someone else for it .we both had swelling on our arm.
