after filling out the paperwork they sent me to a back room that had 9 people standing around with only four chairs. the person having their blood drawn SAT facing everyone with the curtain wide open like some sideshow. the older woman having her blood drawn begin to cry because the needle it was hurting her. I stood up and demanded that the nurse have the decency to close the curtain so we all didn't have to watch. a few minutes later another nurse yelled out okay who's next like we were getting haircuts. I stood up and asked who is running the office because this treatment is deplorable. the last straw was when the nurse who drew my blood wiped her nose with a rubber glove before taking my blood. this all took place at the Fairfax shopping center LabCorp in Delaware. I am not the type to complain I am also not the type to remain silent.

Here is what I am posting on their "consumer support" page: When we arrived for my son's test today, we were told the wait was 1 to 1 1/2 hours. My 12 year old son and I were subjected to a 1 hour and 50 minute wait for a blood draw. It was a fasting test. No morning appointments were available on the website for nearly 2 weeks. The individual I spoke with on the phone yesterday about appointments said a supervisor would call me back. That call never came. To force the staff drawing my son's blood to apologize repeatedly (unsolicited by me) is reprehensible on the part of your company. I wonder if anyone in your company has the capacity to imagine the level of anxiety that my child experienced? Probably not! Unfortunately, my insurer only uses your company. A copy of this message will be sent to them. I expect to receive no response from anyone at your company.

This is the second time i visited labcore in Mt.Holly NJ. I thought the first time was bad. The wait time this time was insanely ridiculous. It was 40 minutes before ny name was even called. Then the one person working behind the desk doing the paperwork and insurance information started calling other people in as i sat and waited while people who came in after me were being taken care of. I finally stood up and said this is bs and said i'm leaving. As i was leaving the one person behind the desk started apologizing for skipping me and and proceeded to take my imformation. That took less than 3 minutes. Also to add there were only 2 people in the waiting room when i first signed in at the desk. The person who finished my paperwork told me to go to room 3 in the back. I proceeded to room 3 (they're only 3 rooms in the back) a woman i presume to be a phelbotomist starts yelling and i mean yelling to go back to room 1 or 2. I step back out of room 3 and there was another phelbotomist who said room 3 was fine and took my blood and was pleasant. Overall a horrible experience not the cleanest place either. I regret not having said anything to the EXTREMELY rude woman in the back.

LabCorp, why do you only have one person working in your office? The 8 of us who have been waiting for over 40 minutes would like to know!! I, and like most, have been fasting since the night before, plus my time just like everyone else's is valuable also. This is ridiculous that you would treat people with such disrespect of their time! This is my bad review for your company!!! If it wasn't for the fact that my insurance requires me to use your company for lab work I would boycot your company!!!!

Very rude. An old lady came in while i was sitting in the waiting area, I was the only one in there until she walked in, so it was very quite. The man at the front was yelling at her because she was confused. It was very disrespectful and i felt terrible for the woman. When he finally got around to helping me (i was the only person waiting) about 20 minutes later. He was very rude and was on an ego trip or something. Not even a hello or a goodbye from this person. He made me very uncomfortable by the way he was treating me. Something needs to be done.

My doctor did tests in office and accidentally sent the sample off to lab core also The doctor admitted that it was a mistake to myself and to lab core. This started in August last year. They keep telling me that they're going to take care of it. I've spoken with a man named Stanley last month and he promised that they would be taking care of it. But about every other Friday I still am getting a bill for $381.65. I guess I'm going to have to get an attorney because they're threatening to send me to collection and I have good credit. They actually told me once "well someone has to pay for it". I have already paid for my services to the doctors office and advised them that I am not going to pay that bill because I'm not paying for someone else's mistake. I always seem to get a bill on Friday so that I can't talk to anybody about it until Monday. The aggravation is more than I can bear right now. I will never use lab Corps again.

LabCorp in San Antonio, Texas - Refusal to help or answer phones

I have had the worst experience of a lifetime at the LabCorp on Wiseman Blvd, in San Antonio, Tx I went in for lab work (this location recommended by my doctor is 20 miles from my home) for bloodwork but forgot my Medicare Card. Apparently because it could not be scanned so they were going to bill my secondary for the services. I assumed this would cause issues with Medicare and so emailed my secondary for help. They said to call and give LabCorp my SS number but I knew they would not accept that; they had said they had to “scan” the physical card when I asked about it while there. I decided to drive out again to give them my card but first I knew I should call to see if they had sent out the bill yet. So, I called MULTIPLE times to absolutely no answer. Fearing they might have sent out the bill I drove the 20miles to find they had sent it out and would not/could not help me. They said (twice) that if the lab orders from my doctor had my medicare info, it would be fine…..but of course they had mailed those off as well and had no idea of it was on there. . When I asked how they could help me avoid the time consuming hassle with Medicare to fix this situation, they essentially said they could not/ or would not help. This after I had driven 20 (40 round trip) miles because they were “too busy” to answer the phone in spite of my mulitple calls. It is difficult for me to imagine a less helpful set of people and I cannot imagine why anyone would deal with them again.

Details
When the phlebotomist first came into the room, he criticized me for looking nervous. He was sarcastic and obnoxious to me before I'd even said a word to him. When he decided to speak to me again, he asked what I did for a living. I told him I was currently unemployed and he told me I was making excuses for not finding a job and that opportunities weren't going to come to me. I have no idea what his problem is or why he thinks part of his job is lecturing people about not living up to his standards.

Don't go to close to closing because they find every reason in the book to not see you. The front desk female was pretty rude. Went to quest and was pretty satisfied!!!

I think going close to closing to any business is rude and disrespectful. Why wait all day and then rush in last minute to get this service.

What I think businesses should do is close their doors 15/30 minutes before closing to give their employees time to close down and get prepared for the next day.

Don't you guys think people want to get home on time to their families instead of waiting an extra 30 mins for your blood to clot then ten more to spin down. Come on now, common sense people.
