Details
Phlebotomist did not wash hands in between patients, chair was not wiped down in between patients, and receptionist was incredibly rude. I can easily get past the rudeness, however the blatant neglect of standard precautions was inexcusable.

Details
Staff was cold. I made an 11am appointment and got there at 10:57. Did not even get called to submit my paper work until 11:40. The waiting room was packed and it smelled horrible. If I could help it is never go back. If they don't keep appointments what's the point of making one?

LabCorp - Policy for advising customers of exposure to contagion?

While at Lab Corp's waiting room for my turn, a woman wearing a mask entered the office to have lab tests prescribed by her doctor. She had been in another country and was apparently ill. She sat in the waiting room and was called next. Suddenly there was panic because she was bleeding profusely. The phlebotomist came out and said call 911. Moments passed and a staff member came out and handed everyone masks to put on. She said it would take an hour to clean up but I decided to come back another day and told them so. I waited a few days to hear if this was contagious but never heard one way or another. It worried me because elderly people were there and myself.

Labcorp in North Miami staff is not trained to work with babies

I have two little girls, an infant and a toddler that needed blood work. As soon as we got to LabCorp in the North Miami location the girls weren't greeted by the staff they just asked me to place them in my lap and two nurses went straight to hold the baby and put the needle of course my little girl freaked out and started crying so I asked to let her go to try to calm her down, they did not try to make her feel comfortable, nor play with her nothing.. The staff had no idea how to deal with little kids, the receptionist was annoyed by the noise that came and close the door and said that the girls were making too much noise. A different nurse came because the other couldn't do it. When they started again my daughter was so scared that she cried, she kicked and they kept pocking her with needle over and over again in both arm they torture her so much.. I didn't leave because she was going to be scared if I took her somewhere else (what a mistake I should of got them out of there but I didn't want to put them thru the same thing again), now is the turn for the infant and the same thing happened.. I tried to talk to the manager to complaint about the lack of training to see kids at this location and she said that it was her lunch time, that she was going to eat... This location should not see kids!!! Pediatrics are not easy and this location is not prepared for such delicate job.. Don't put babies and parents thru *** by offering service to little ones, Labcorp in North Miami just can not do that job.

Not very pleasant experience at Feasterville Trevose LabCorp location

Not friendly staff. Cannot ask a question because they are busy talking to each other. No greeting when you come in, no instructions what to do and if you do not what they expect you get a "look" like you are a complete dummy. The biggest problem - painful blood draw that leaves a big bruise. Try to avoid this location if possible. Hope this can be improved or maybe another location van be opened in this area. Why do I have to write at least 100 words? Three words will be enough - not good service. Thanks for taking care of your patients.

Labcorp - Blood Test Review from Marlboro Township, New Jersey

My daughter was in room for blood drawing, while the technician(by the way she did not even introduce her self)was drawing blood, another technician male, barges in without a knock, not apologizing for intrusion during a procedure. Technician who was drawing blood, off course got distracted and lost the venous line. She had to poke my daughter again but this time she did not even mentioned that she wants to do an arterial stick on a 13 year old skinny girl and did the arterial stick and now my daughter has an huge hematoma on her right arm and she is in pain.

LabCorp in Gambrills, Maryland - False hours

I had to go to Labcorp in gambrills, md. I had to take a drug test, mandatory to start my new job. The information on their website, and the location's voicemail both said open until 4pm. I arrive just after 2pm, only to see a notice which says no drug testing after 2pm. This information was not on the website, or the voicemail. And this location only does drug testing. There is no reason for them to put false information on their website and voicemail. The lady informed me their linthicum, md location does testing until 4pm, however the lady did not know the address or phone number of that location. I eventually called corporate and found that information. But a 10 minute drug test, turned into a day trip. Horrible.

LabCorp in Feasterville Trevose, Pennsylvania - Complaint rude employee unprofessional

My son and I arrived at the Feasterville labcorp, The employee said nothing so I started filling out a paper attached to clip board and this employee said very abruptly the first thing you need to do is sign in, I said ok and signed in, then finished filling out the paper and at the top it said to give your insurance card and ID so I placed both on the desk and she said no you hold on to them. So I sat down, then she called my son's name and said have a seat in the chair, I pointed to the lab chair and she said No you cant send him in there. I said I am sorry I thought you meant the lab chair with that I dropped my paperwork on the desk and she said REALLY and I said Yes you have been rude and unprofessional since we got here. The other lab tech came out and I asked if she could draw his blood. The lab tech that was rude started laughing and twirling her finger insinuating that I was crazy. I don't appreciate being treated like this. I am a professional nurse and would never in a million years treat anyone like we were treated. I would like a response.
